A Dutch television stunt is generating headlines around the world – for all the wrong reasons.

The two presenters of TV show Proefkonijnen (which means guinea pigs or test rabbits) brought reality television to a whole new level when they ate each other’s freshly cooked flesh.

Amge measured in at 62.8 centimetres (24.7 inches) tall – seven centimetres (2.76 inches) shorter than the 22-year-old American Bridgette Jordan, who had held the title since September.

It’s not Amge’s first Guinness record. Until today she was considered the world’s shortest teenager, but in turning 18 qualified for the new title. View full article »

 

CITIZENS in the Spanish town of Júzcar have decided they should remain blue after going to the polls to settle the matter.

Located in the autonomous community of Andalusia, the town of 221 was first painted blue in June as part of a promotion to celebrate the release of The Smurfs movie. View full article »
