A 27-year-old Crestview man, who goes by the nickname of “Juice Man,” was the passenger in a car that drove by a Crestview police officer working a traffic stop.

“[Expletive] you,” the man yelled out the window, which caused the officer to shine his light into the car and note that neither the driver nor the passenger were wearing a seat belt, reports the Northwest Florida Daily News.

When the officer pulled the car over, he noticed that Juice Man had an open container of beer on his lap — and several other bottles on the seat and floor around him, according to the arrest report.

He continued to cuss the cop, who noticed that he exhibited the signs of a drunken man: He smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech.

The driver explained to the officer that he was just giving him a ride home.

Juice Man resisted being handcuffed and argued with the officers about putting his beer on the roof of the car.

“No, I’m not doing that,” he said, according to the report. “Those are my beers.”

Juice Man then opened a beer and began to drink it. When the officer ordered him to stop drinking it, he spit the beer out on top of the patrol car.

He was placed under arrest.
